Well that was interesting.  Like I often do I was surfing the net looking for ideas with ginger when this one popped up.

Not only have I never cooked jam the idea of doing it in the camp oven really jumped out at me.

It is really delicious.  Cool

That is different Derek, how did it taste?
I like ginger jam, but never would have thought of adding pumpkin to it.

Bonnie and I have often made jams, but not for awhile now.
Bonnie likes pumpkin soup and boiled pumpkin, but I prefer pumpkin as a roast. I find pumpkin to sweet that is why I asked,  the ginger might take some of the sweetness away.
