We picked this little beauty up recently. It will go well with our Furphy double square irons. I look forward to trying it out.

Been looking around places we go to but nuthing yet. Can still remember my dad had a single square and round ones we used during winter up at Kempsey. Was treat for us kids. Cheers

Yeah Bear when I was a kid we had the round alloy ones. We always have our jaffle irons with us on our travels as they are good for cooking up leftovers. We think the granddaughters will enjoy using these new ones as they burn the animal patterns onto the bread.  Smiley

I was thinking the same, will have to be a bit more observant while traveling. My granddaughter would be wrapped and more cuddles and kisses for pop. Cheers

I have the newer one made in China.  Never could get those imprints looking right on a piece of bread.  Smiley

It will be interesting to see what it goes for.  Previously seen them up to $280 on eBay.

Not a lot of people know the later ones were from China and not made at Shepparton.
