Rummaging around in the shed and found my two little baby Lodge camp ovens in the bottom of a box.  Both of them 5” diameter.

One on the left is a standard oven however Lodge only made so many and they are considered quite rare.  I have had it for quite a few years now and from memory it was $450 delivered from the States. Was not new when I bought it.

The one on the right is one of a number of 5” ovens made for the Japan Dutch Oven Society (JDOS).  Has the JDOS logo on the base.

When these were made it was on the understanding that they would never be sold outside of Japan.

However collectors being collectors, I was offered one of these for a 12” Australian Furphy.  Maggie and I flew to Sydney for the exchange.

Gave them a bit of a clean up.

I have the 6" Lodge.
It's a cutie.  Only use it for making small sauces.
Those 5s are beauties Derek.
