Gday can anybody help wth identifying this camp oven base it doesn’t have a lid I’m hoping to identify it and try and locate a lid

I would say it was a Carmichael oven made in Sydney. The one we have and the ones I have seen are very roughly cast and quite heavy. Yes mine looks the same a bit rough around the handles aswell cheers Chally if you come across a 11 and a half inch lid for one of these keep me in mind thanks

If its a Carmichael it will have distinct squares around the lid handle and ears. They are a heavy rough cast oven, They also made frying pans.

Yes it dose have the square casting marks around the handles I’m prity sure it’s a Carmichael thanks bill.Now starts the hunt for 11 and half inch lid for it
