Looking through some old images today and came across this one of a Furphy Brochure.  I am assuming it was from the original Shepparton Foundry

Not sure where it came from but no doubt off someone here.

What caught my eye is that according to the brochure Furphy made both a square and a round waffle iron.

Have never seen one, Google images do not appear to have one and I have never seen one advertised for sale.

Has anyone seen or come across one?????

I recently advertised, Wanted to Buy a waffle iron, had three replies and they were all Jaffle irons, evidently people don't know the difference.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

I was provided with this photo on Rastas Jaffle Iron Facebook Group.

It is in the Furphy Museum at Shepparton.

Looks to be a Furphy Double Waffle iron but surprisingly it looks as though it could be aluminium.

It does look like aluminium. I noticed they used the overseas spelling for waffle also.
