Beef and Guinness Pie

700 gms  diced chuck steak
1 sliced onion
2 crushed cloves of garlic
1 tblsp olive oil
1/3 cup plain flour
150 mls Guinness beer
1 cup beef stock
1 sheet ready rolled puff pastry
1 beaten egg

Brown the meat and set aside with juices.
brown onion and garlic then stir in the plain flour and cook for a further 1 minute.
Return meat and juices to camp oven along with stock and beer.
Bring to the boil and reduce heat to simmer for 90 mins or till tender.
Preheat a camp oven to 220C.
Spoon mixture into 3 x 100mm ramekins.
Cut a round of pastry to cover ramekins,
Press to sides and form a seal.
Brush with egg.
Place ramekins on trivet in camp oven and cook till golden brown on top. Took 25 minutes
