Derek
You don't have to disturb them. I through you might see them flying around.

Yep, I see them all the time.  I can see the nest from the back patio and often see them up there.

Great to see them nesting in the new spot Derek. It's great having the birds around. I was hoping to see some Diamond Firetails again this trip but didn't see any when we were in their range. We have only ever seen them once some years ago now at Glenn Riddle Reserve north of Tamworth.

Had a look in the Rosella Nest.  Only two hatched out of the five eggs and without touching them the last three look clear.

I don’t think male could be real fertile as often over the last two years we have seen infertile eggs.

At least these two are looking quite healthy.

I haven’t seen them since I was a kid.  We lived at Ebenezer in NSW and they used to nest in the paddock next door.

Stay safe down there.

I would love to see them in the wild again for sure. Thanks Derek; we are camped out and in the sunshine so hope we avoid any covid that maybe around. Who knows when the border will ever open for us to get back to QLD.
