Yep, looks like the worst of it has fallen away.  Some cloud here this morning with patches of sun.

Aart has your lawn greened up?  Managed to mow mine 2 days before we left.

Hi Derek
I hope you both have a great time away.
I was hoping to get away but  just out of hospital after
an op so I grounded as no lifting for 6 weeks and no driving for a week. So I will sit at home a plan some possible trips that I can take.
regards Kev

It is so green at present, you would swear that you were in Ireland.
Saturday morning is cloud free, so hoping that I can get a mower over it this afternoon.

Yes, the kids are back at school and the bush fire threat has gone for the present so we are hitting the road mid week. Do some bush camping at a couple of TSRs I know.
Before you ask TSRs are Travelling Stock Reserves, Crown land always on permanent water and not advertised or well known. If you are looking you sometimes see a yellow metal triangle on a rural gate with TSR on it, keep your eyes open, good free camping.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Agree Rob; one of our favourite camping spots is on a TSR near Mudgee. There was a move to stop camping on them in NSW but not sure if that has happened or not.

Is that the one on the Cudgegong River Jeff??

There has been a big to do about camping on TSR’s across NSW and many are now off the camping list.

Yes, the one near Gulgong is one of my favourites, been there many times. Not too sure if any are closed, like you Derek I heard they were trying to ban camping.
