The pie ingredients are sufficient for four nice pies but you are only seeing two as I am doing something different tomorrow for the extra two pies

Ingredients
500 grams steak (I use shin beef)
6 big mushrooms
1 large onion
1 cup beef stock
1/2 cup good port
Sprinkle of dried thyme
Salt & pepper to taste
2 teaspoons cornflour mixed in a little water
Puff pastry

Method
Dice the steak, slice mushrooms and slice onions.  Place in a pot with the port, stock thyme and salt and pepper. Bring to the boil and simmer for around two hours until the meat starts to fall apart.  Add the cornflour mix to thicken. Set aside to cool.

...

Grease the pie tins, line with pastry and spoon in a generous amount of the meat mixture.

...

Place pastry on top, crimp with a fork, paint on an egg wash then cut two steam holes in the top

...

Into a camp oven, Weber Q, Hooded BBQ or even the oven at home and bake for around 50 minutes until nice and brown

...

Eat as it is or serve with your choice of vegetables.  I chose a medley of steamed greens
