Picked up this 14" oven at the tip last week
I can just make out some of the letters of the maker's
name. Badly cracked but I should be weld it with careful preparation.
Thanks .....Don

Don hope you have experience with welding cast iron. Use to do oxy welding and brazing of cast during my apprenticeshipe so make sure you are set up correctly,

Personal I would just use it for display. Cheers Bear

Hi Bear,
Should be ok, I have cast rods but will braze it, just have to clean & prepare correctly & keep heat even, I picked up a Weber BBQ from the dump & it is just right for heating up & keeping heat even between welds & after welds, have done a few plough & harvester seats & a few pumpjack parts.
Cheers.....Don
