Hi All,

Colin from Mount Colah, NSW here.

Over the eons I have owned a few camp ovens but for some reason they seem to vanish or get borrowed and are never seen again.

Last year at the Sydney Royal Show I bought a set of OzWit spun steel camp ovens.

I month later I came across one of my old ovens at my brothers place.

Unfortunately life has conspired against me, in that opportunity to get away and re-familiarise myself with campfire cooking simply hasn't arisen.

With the current restrictions on movement throughout the country I thought I should think about using the ovens at home.  So I will be looking for some low mess solutions.

Cheers

Colin

Welcome Colin, Like others have said, it is not hard to use camp ovens at home. We had a COG last weekend and I think we all cooked from home.

Welcome to the group Colin. Using heat beads makes it pretty easy to be able to cook with your ovens at home.
