Warm and sunny (mid 20s) at home in Pinjarra. Warm and sunny (high 20s) out here at work in Leinster.

Edit: just checked the weather today in Pinjarra and its cold and a bit wet today. Nice weather before flying out to work a couple of days ago though

Bit cool here this evening. Took the dog for a walk, noticed
it a bit cold around the ears, then I remember I gave myself a hair cut a (No 2 ) this morning. So I have rushed inside and found a warm beanie.
I am OK now.

Was a nice day out here. Got to 21 degrees.

Spent an hour at Lake Dyer this afternoon birdwatching.  Quite pleasant out there.

The Lake is very nice  I would like to go caravaning there but they will not take my 4 legged friend.
However the RV group from here went out there and as long as there was 10 caravans  booked in they would except dogs.
Did you see many birds Derek?.
During the day here it was quite warm.

Today was cool but sunny, excellent for the solar power as we produced 22 units. Hoping tomorrow will be the same as it is quite cold at the moment and heater on, cheers Robert

Quite a lot Kev.  The water is quite low and there is a huge growth on the old banks.

I went looking for plum-headed finches as they are often out there but none today.  Heaps of water birds (ducks, pelicans, coots, grebes), while bellied sea-eagle, red-backed fairy wren, black faced cuckoo shrike, willie wagtails, noisy minors, kookaburra, magpie lark, magpie, corella, galah, sulphur crested cockatoo.  Just a few off the top of my head.

There are a number of black-fronted dotterels out there along the foreshore.  The little buggers are well camouflaged and stand with their back to you all the time.  Did manage a couple of photos though.  Beautiful little bird.

Derek
From your report it must be a great spot to go to. I will have to get there some day.
The plum head finch is one that I like.
That for the photos Are they from the plover family.
regards Kev

Blowing a gale here this morning and at 10.00 am it is 13.2 degrees but with the wind chill factor it is only 4 degrees. Brrrrrrrrrrr.

What a weird day.  Never got above 8 degrees with the wind chill.  I see it snowed in the northern New England area.

Certainly a bit fresh here as well.
The westerly wind have kept the temp down all day.
