Kev, I have a mix of around 200 grevilleas and callistemons now.  All grown from tiny tube stock.

Derek
I got a lot of my from a native nursery  I would go there for lunch and a spend up every couple of weeks I also was a member of a grevillea group and attended meeting and they had sale tables. raffles and freebies there were members who bred them That was the ways I got them. I enjoyed them then and I still do now.
regards Kev

The fruits of my labours.

Started eating home grown paw paws and mulberries this week.

The mulberry tree is only a dwarf one but is laden with fruit.  Hoping to get enough to make a pie or two.

Nice fresh home grown fruit there Derek. It's a wonder some of your feathered friends haven't eaten them on you.

You will need this Derek, best Mulberry Pies Ive ever made, knocked  a pile of them out when last in Silverton, Mob of huge old trees down along the creek if you know where to look. Spent half my life in them as a kid.

Two home grown paw paws cut and now chilling in the fridge.

The flying foxes beat me to a third one.  I can see we are going to do battle with them in the coming years.

Maybe nets to come.

Or do what the Ni-Vanuatu folk do about flying foxes (or as they call it : flaengfoks)...

Cook 'em up and eat them.

I have actually looked at the flying fox recipes from Vanuatu and if you were to substitute the fox with chicken they would be a bit of alright.    Grin Grin Grin

Flying foxes are protected here.   Wink
