Thanks Derek.

I'll have to keep an eye on them.

Pulled about 40 of these Kaffir Limes off the tree today.  I planted the tree for the leaves which are fantastic in Thai Curry dishes and didn’t realise at the time that they are such a prolific fruiter as well.

These limes are so juicy and the flavour of the flesh is quite nice however not really sure what to do with them.

I know they make nice marmalade but look at all the seeds you need to pull out.

Any ideas?

Juice them and add the juice to chilled water or soda water. Very refreshing drink.
Juice can be frozen as ice cubes and saved for next summer.

You can also make a soap and shampoo with them.

Gardenias are not supposed to grow that well around here but this potted one now around three times it’s size when bought is thriving.

I might take a chance and plant it out when it outgrows the pot.

Looks like a nice crop of Panama Gold Passionfruit coming on.  Still lots of flower buds as well.

Going to be eating Red Dragon Fruit before long.  Currently one bigger fruit and two new flowers.

We missed seeing the flowers open by a day I reckon.  Could have even been last night as I have been told the flowers often open at night.

Rory, these are from the cutting you gave us.
