I have a butter milk recipe I have planed to use, I might now cook it on the weekend instead though.

That is good news for you TBF.

I have had my early plans messed for this month, I tried a new out door cooking plate, My Nissan engine bonnet.  Cry
The fuel hose ruptured which ignited. I have had to do a engine rewire, repaint bonnet both sides and replace the fuel lines.
It was my own fault, I had been fitting a new fuel pump and check valve, and I put the return line to the wrong fuel tank.  Embarrassed

Our house got a conditional contract after 2 days on the market.  Life is moving at a fast pace at present.  House prices around here are through the roof.

Well done. Our last house took two years to sell.

You can count on a house warming.  Will have to get a camp oven mate, no more fires on 800 m2 block.
Settles on 15/10.

Hopefully our house settles 30/10. There will be a going away party there as well.

Managed a second one yesterday.  I have always been a bit wary making custard from scratch as it can quite easily turn to scrambled egg if the heat is all wrong.

This one turned out very smooth and delicious.

I thought about making custard but I got scared, so went with scones instead. Found the recipe on taste.com.au while looking up a scone recipe and the kids seemed pretty keen so gave it a go. Turned out great, didn't rise as much as I hoped, but were still light and fluffy. I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but quite enjoyed these
