Sometimes you do not really need an excuse to buy something and so we did and here below is the first attempt at cooking in it.

All I did was skin 4 sausages and add to it some grated carrot, grated zucchini, diced onion and grated Parmesan.

The sausage maker is designed around the size of shop bought frozen pastry so cut one sheet of puff pastry in half and pop it on the machine.

Place sausage mix on top, the other half of the pastry sheet over, close and cook for 10 to 12 minutes for four very crispy and delicious sausage rolls.

The pastry was very flaky and more akin to a Maccas hot apple pie than flaky pastry cooked in the oven.

I am told mars bars fit perfectly in them so have four in the cupboard ready.

I guess the ingredients can be as tame or as wild as your imagination on these for tasty savoury or sweet.

Very well worth the $20 investment.

That's very cool. I was given a pie maker for christmas by my wife which does an excellent job. Looks like I need the sausage roll variant as well

Hi
When my daughter gave me my present (sausage maker)
I  had been hoping it was a pie maker. I will get it one day
I thinking about making apple turnovers with my machine
when I get around to using it.
regards Kev Wink
