Just got back from a few days down the Murray River near Dwellingup for the opening of marron season. Unfortunately I only got 1 for the trip. Surprising after a good season there last year. Am going south to Wellington Dam on Wednesday for a couple of days, hopefully have a bit better luck. Got a hammock for Christmas so gave that a run, awesome for a quick setup when moving around trying different spots

Hi Tad
Thanks for the photos. The areas where you go look pretty good. Do you have enough room on the hammock for the family Grin Grin. I hop you get some good feeds of marron during the season

Nice looking spots; shame you never got a decent feed. All the best for next time.
