First off it is going to most likely be freezing cold. Secondly most likely no facilities so bring everything.

Maggie and I are planning on attending the Bendigo Sheep & Wool Show on 16-18 July and after that will head up to the Murray River north of the Rutherglen area.

Great opportunity for people to join us for a COG.

No definite location as yet but open to suggestions or we will pick one closer to the time.

Unable to attend. Previous plans to travel for 8 weeks to the cape and back.
Will be nice and warm then. Just saying.

I have always wanted to camp on the banks of the Murray but   reality raised it  head and after talking to Lesley I  realize it would be too long of a trip to do on my own.
So unfortunately I will will not be attending the COG.

Mmmmm, I camped at Police Paddocks near Rutherglen a while back, will check that out.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Yes, I like the Police Paddocks.  In that area and further west is Shaws Flat and also Grantham Bend that is also pretty good and much flatter for a group gathering.
