Today I bought something that I never thought I ever would - an electric portable induction cooktop for the motorhome.

Being a gadgets man and tired of playing with gas in a breeze I thought I would give it a go.

It is a 300 to 2000 watt unit and seems quite schmick.

Online purchase so see what it is like when it arrives.

I have noticed a few of the new motorhomes have these built in.

Derek we bought one two years ago for our motorhome.  We wouldn't be without it now - beats trying to keep the gas alight when it is windy.

Sometimes for every positive there can be a negative.

Not one of the cooking utensils in the motorhome would work with this little induction cooktop.  Undecided

So late yesterday went off to the new KHub (little KMart) in Gatton and bought some nice lightweight stuff with steel bases.

All good again.

Derek
If there is  some type of cooking utensil  you need I may be able to give it a go and make it.
I also have a box here of different size stirrers and things
I recently made a utensil like the one Mary Berry uses (as seen on TV)
regards Kev

Sorry Kevvie, utensils such as saucepans and frying pans.  Induction only works on certain metals.
