I went to the Goulburn Swap Meet last weekend, one day only and it was very busy, huge crowd and many sellers. There were plenty of Chinese made ovens but no vintage Australian made ones or water fountains.
I had a site and sold off quite a few cast iron boilers, frying pans, griddles and kettles, no camp ovens, as well as accumulated garage junk, all round a successful day.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Hi Poddy
Well done on your sales mate.
I am glad you had a great day at the swap meet.
I would love to find a griddle that I can buy one day.
Take care Rob.

I am glad I made you laugh.
you would not cook much on a girdle  Grin Grin Grin Grin
When my mum was alive she had a griddle.  She used on top of the wood stove and cook pancakes. I believe she called it a scotch griddle
I will have to wait for Rob's next sale and see if has one for sale.
regards Kev Wink

Actually a griddle was called a girdle way back when. The old foundry catalogues such as Falkirk's (see photo) show that.  Smiley

Hi Jeff and Derek
Yes that is what mom had. It is good to see them after all those years.
Thank you to you both.
