This looks like it would be a great event.  It is being held on 1 & 2 October 2022

Quote:
The Good Old Days Festival is one of the nation’s most unique events authentically recreating and celebrating our nation’s pioneer heritage.

The Festival is also the largest gathering of harnessed draught animals – horses, bullocks, camels, donkeys, mules and goats – in Australia.

Held on the long weekend in October each year, the not-for-profit event is run by volunteers and contributes funds back into the regional community.

Early farming practices showcased include horse and bullock drawn ploughs, binders, wool wagons and a mallee roller.

The Good Old Days Festival also celebrates the iconic water cart with a Furphy Festival featuring rebarrelling demonstrations, Furphy collectables and Furphy trains.

Hi Derek
After seeing this on Landline (on ABC ) I have wanted to go to it. It looks pretty interesting.

It would be great to attend. Some of those camp ovens could do with a good clean though.

Not that we need much incentive to do a trip but this could be good, weather should be starting to improve by then.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Daughter is getting married that weekend.
I suppose that means no negotiations.
