Should have said it is more a slice than a deep dish cake.  I used to cook them in a pie dish.

Given the small number and long shelf life of the ingredients, I can see this becoming a bit of a camp site regular.

Well, if we ever get sorted enough to go camping again!

(You wouldn't think it would be an issue being an hour from the mallee, and hour from the Murray and 4 hours from the Flinders but life gets in the way...)
