Today I did a cook up for the members of our wood group. (No photos sorry)
The Heatbeads I used were 3 years old. That's right 3 years old stored in an old chest freezer. No problems what so ever. Burnt down to nothing.0

I was given a pallet load once by HeatBeads when I was doing cooking demos.  They were still good around 5/6 years later.

I actually think the HeatBeads were much better years ago.

I used some Hot Shots stored in a lidded container last week to cook a piece of Corned Beef, they fired up alright but when I checked them 20 minutes later found they had no heat whatsoever. They would have been about three years old if that.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd
