I posted a video the other day but decided to create my own version of this.  Cooked mine in the Weber but you really could use any style of cooking.

Two pieces of Osso Bucco oiled and seasoned with salt and pepper into a skillet to brown.

Remove and place on a piece of baking paper.  Top with chopped garlic, onion wedges and a sprig of thyme.

The thyme I am using is a large leaf thyme I have growing in my garden called pizza thyme.

Wrap the meat in the paper then a double wrap in foil.  Into the Weber sitting between 180 to 200 degrees for two and a half hours.

Toast and butter the buns.  PLace the meat on the bun after removing the bone and thyme sprig then scrape out the marrow from the bone and spread over the meat.

Top with cheese, tomato, beetroot and lettuce.

What an amazing taste served with home made potato wedges.

I cook these when we are travelling, although good Osso Bucco is sometimes hard to find.  Real Osso Bucco is veal and not beef and that is even harder to find.

Have been adding a dash of port as well as a few slices of potato 🥔 and carrot  🥕

Serve it up with some greens like peas or broccoli and you have a nice meal.
