Mine is fresh grain bread with onion, white, brown or purple does not matter with a little salt and white pepper.
I have this at least three times a week.

Bit of an avocado on toast person myself.  Straight on the toast with no butter and sprinkled with a little salt and black pepper.

Don’t usually eat much salt but it is a must have on eggs and avocado for me. Avocado needs to be very ripe.

Us oldies here don’t have a full lunch as it isn’t needed these days so we prefer a mid-day snack.  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Loaf of bread not long out of the oven, avocado instead of butter, slice of vintage cheddar, some roast beef left over from a bolar blade we had for dinner the other night all goes together to make a nice lunch sandwich.

A light grazing lunch.

Sopresso salami, plain wafers, Brie, potted blue Stilton, Sicilian green olives, Spanish Serrano ham and a Beerenberg blood orange and whiskey jam.

All washed down with a cup of tea. 😋
