I found this interesting.  This place is named after a horse.

My new face net to keep the flies off.  I can still read the news on the iPad with it on.

Very difficult to drink coffee with it on though.

Just watched a couple drive into the campground.

She jumped out and he “tried” to reverse in.  I don’t think he was following her directions.

Words were said and he got out of the car and she got in.

She then proceeded to line up and reverse in perfectly.  Grin Grin Grin

Didn’t get a photo so this is from my online bird book.

Saw one of these Splendid Fairywrens at Augusta on the far south coast of WA.

The most brilliant blue colours you would ever see on a bird.

A first for me.  We don’t get them at home.

We have surfaced again after a couple of nights in no-mans land.

First night pulled into the Woorlba Rest Area.  It is a very large area that goes back into the bush at least 500 metres.

After we set up we realised there was no internet or phone service.

Surprisingly I would estimate over 30 RV’s pulled in for the night.

It has long drop toilets, dump point, rubbish bins and some picnic tables.  No Water though.

Why you need to be careful with your puppies in the bush here in the west.  They bait for wild dogs with 1080 poison constantly.

I had read online of people loosing their pets crossing the Nullarbor but didn’t think we would see this.

The sign was on a tree and the tiny dog grave not 50 metres away.

They left her little pink harness, leash and toy here with her.

Last night we were just beside a big gravel pit on the side of the road about 10 klm from the Cocklebiddy Roadhouse.

Diesel there was $2.76 a litre.
