This weekend we looked after our sons puppy while the family went away for the weekend with friends to Somerset Dam.

Got a message this morning that they were bringing some redclaw back for a late lunch.

All up they had 140 odd nice sized redclaw .  Cooked up in butter with lots of garlic they made for an amazing sandwich or just pulled from the shell and eaten.

We didn’t eat them all but certainly put a dent in them.

The dam just south of Emerald and Paradise Dam are full of them.
I have heard of people filling tuckerbox freezers full of tails.
