EDIT

Ok, so I was unhappy with the cheap fan I initially bought so off to BCF today and got a better model.  Still 12 volt and still completely removable for travel

New video uploaded
I spent some time yesterday and this morning installing a ceiling fan over the bed in the motorhome.  Just finished most of it so made this little video.

Bought the fan and variable switch off eBay and bits and pieces from Bunnings.  All up around $45.

Still need to look for a quick release catch to take it down (most likely a small carabinar) and someway to lift the wires up a bit.

It is a little noisy.  Not quite as noisy as the video though.

Very happy.

Kev, starting to feel unimpressed with the roughness of the fan.  I did buy a cheap one and now wondering if I should have spent more and got better quality.

Trip to Yetman will determine if I change it before heading off on a bigger trip in winter.

Kev, just been out there hanging curtains and the more I see it the more it is annoying me.  I can see a trip to Toowoomba coming up tomorrow.   Roll Eyes

By the way, I do like the flat end stirrers for the camp oven.  The ones I have of yours get used here.

It is funny the stirrer  I use in the kitchen when cooking pasta when trying to get pasta out to try will not stay on the spoon
keeps falling off
Have to improve that at least. Shocked Shocked Grin Cheesy

Right, after an overnight consideration I have replaced the fan with a better one.

Derek is the fan reversible?
I was wondering if it was you could use it to push the warm air from your diesel heater back down.
