Well we moved onto Bendigo and got a pay for two and stay three deal at the Tasman Holiday Park.

Have had trouble with the right side of my back for years and have the nerves burnt every year to ease the pain. Some where up the road the left side went bad and nerve pain near unbelievable.
Had one of the staff reverse the van and he helped set it up as I could not.

As Molly was still working life goes on, I went to Bunnings for some gear and Molly had her trip to the woollen mill. Some for the van but the majority posted home. A bit too bulky.

The friend we wanted to see was still working so he could not see us. Effort made do not think we will be back that way.

Talking to a couple of blokes there and when we were leaving they both gave us a hand to pack up and hitch the van. By that stage I was not able to do any of it. It was cold and damp and I was appreciative of the help.

Decided on a run home with a stop in at Edenhope near the SA border. By the time we arrived it was dark from the clouds and raining. I was stuffed and just out of town was a level gravel pit so pulled in for the night.

Next morning we headed home via Staphalbyn for scones and then home. Left the van on the street for the night and will attempt to park tomorrow,

Derek Flinders Private is no longer doing the procedure so has to be the Memorial north side. Earliest is July the 20 th in for the long haul here. Hard to sleep as no position is comfortable. Cheers Robert

Bit of a update on what is happening which is not much. Since we got back in July my days just seem to be filled with medical appointments.

Was expected to go this weekend for a get together with the Freedom Campers SA but back flared up so not risking it.

Finally going in to Flinders on Tuesday to have some injections to the spine to try and ease the nerve pain from July so hoping it works. Saw my pain specialist the other week and after reviewing my scans just looked at me and said ‘ Robert your spine is stuffed’.
So we are trying what we can without major surgery.

Finally had the bit of welding done on the A frame so that is out of the way. Finished the 12v conversion for the Starlink but yet to try. Maybe this weekend while Molly is not working. Had my auto electrician wire in a 12v outlet for it and another in each of the bed side cupboards. Need power there for my Cpap machine. With a new set of tyres on we are now ready to roll.

So now we are just waiting for the chance to get away which does not look like it will be this year.

Take care cheers Robert.

That is no good mate, no good at all.

I remember the day Maggie and I sat across from the surgeon and he said to her that there was nothing surgery could do to help her back.

The injections and significant medications help but it is always there.

She is managing quite well on this trip though which has been good and we are already making plans for next year.

Take care.
