I have Apple CarPlay in my little car and use it all the time and often wished I had it in the motorhome.

The Fiat has a very small screen GPS that is very difficult to upgrade and use

Not to be put out I bought a Car Multimedia Player off eBay and installed it today.  It is screwed into the Fiat dash clipboard.

It connects to my iPhone via Bluetooth.

It has a lovely clear screen and all the Apps I usually use in the car particularly Google Maps, Tom Tom Go Navigation, Apple Maps and most importantly Spotify.

Can now listen to our favourite music through the Fiat stereo system.

I am going a similar way for my Nissan. I am waiting on a Samsung 7” tablet, but I will run IGo mapping and OziExplorer, I already have all the offroad Maps for OziExplored.
