Our generic Chinese heater has been showing error R8 after a hour running.

I know E8 is fuel or air in line. Our current outside temperature is 10c.

Any help appreciated cheers Robert

Know nothing of the generic heaters but I doubt it would be anything to do with temperature at only 10 degrees.

Every thing is pointing to lack of fuel but hard to see a airlock after 40 + minutes of running.

Pull the fuse on it for a few minutes. Then see if it resets the code.

All indication is the fuel system and I am not capable of getting under the van to deal with.

Any one know a business around Tamworth who can check it out Thank you Robert

Derek just stopped again and could not hear the clicking when I went outside to check.

Robert, have heard good reports on these guys through Facebook.

Was a post recently where someone mentioned they called in at short notice with a diesel heater problem and they sorted it.

They are at Moombi on the north side of Tamworth.

All good at the moment Molly went through the book then I did, one point on high temperature on the shell of the unit caught my eye. Lifted the bed for a look and was hit by a blast of hot air.

One of the ducting pipes had come off and directing all the hot air around under the mattress. Pushed it back on and heater has been running for near two hours.

Some times it is the simplest of things that create the problem.

Thank you for all your suggestions Robert.
