Well, I have retired my old Diawa fishing reel and lashed out and bought a new one.

Our next trip through SA will be taking in some of the finest coastal fishing across the country.

It’s a PENN Spinfisher 650SSM.

Young fella at Anaconda even stuck it on his winding machine and spooled it up with 6kg mono for me

Might even splash out on a nice 2 piece 10’ beach rod along the way yet.  Roll Eyes

6kg line might not be strong enough for SA fish. Just saying.  Grin Grin
