Hi all.
Hoping this is OK to post. I am considering purchasing a Furphy 8" camp oven, the seller is asking $850 is this a good price? I am aware they are collectables.
My father used to have one when were were growing up, nostalgic over beautiful meals and breads Cheesy

The prices if camp ovens are well out of control these days and I am lost with them.

Back when I first started collecting $10 an inch was considered top dollar. Now they are asking $100 an inch as with the little furphy you are looking at.

Sometimes it is just how desperate someone wants to own one is all that matters.
