. . . . . . and don’t I know it.

We will most likely do a shorter trip when we get going so still may get to see you this year John.

Well the beginning of this trip was five nights at the Glenreagh Recreational Ground for a get together.  Had a meal for Maggie’s birthday at the Golden Dog Pub.

Great little campsite for $25 with power a night and an amazing town.

Was a funny day.

We were originally intending to go into Walcha however last night decided we would head down the highway to Newcastle then cut across and down behind Sydney.

Then this morning a few minutes before we were to leave I said to Maggie let’s stick to our plan and go down to Walcha.

We got to Armidale at 1.00 pm and I said, let’s go as far as Bendemeer today.  Got to Bendemeer and we talked about whether we really did want to go to Walcha.

Well in the long run we just kept going and now are all tucked up at Chaffey Dam in the Peel Valley below Tamworth.

This is a nice spot we have visited before.  Great amenities block with $2 showers and a dump point.

$5 a night per person to stay so have paid for two nights.

My $19 Kmart sandwich toaster.

Makes an excellent toasted sandwich on the gas stove.  Easy dinner tonight.   Smiley
