Hi Robert
Thank you for the photos I appreciate  seeing them.
The gravel pit looks like a great place to camp I think it would be  better than a crowded rest area.
Safe travelling

60klm south of Tennant Creek in of the highway at Dillbury’s free camp. Mud pans and water in the deepest one’s..

Two others parked here but all about 100m spacing, expect another quite night. No internet so Starlink set up again.

Two photos

You can just see the water in one of the pans and a nice picture of trees surrounding a dry pan.

Cheers Robert

Fair few tracks in but only three of us here.

At the moment we are in another gravel about 63 Klm south of Alice.
Past a roadside rest area back a bit, only small and around a dozen units crammed in. Big area here and only us.

Sun going down so will take photos cheers Robert

Doesn’t look like a place you would want to be after some heavy rain.

Tonight we are in a large gravel area about 63 klm below Alice and about 500 metres from the highway and still a large area beyond us.

Couple of photos of the sunset and a couple of the area and camp.

Cheers Robert
