TBF found this.  I have loaded it on the forum.  Neat looking piece of gear.  If you look close it has a chrome base.  I believe they may be made of aluminium.

A search on Google show you can still buy them

When we went to Japan last year we went to a restaurant where oll the dinners were cooked in those. Each dinner was served in the cooker.
