Went to lift the bed in the motorhome to put the slideout out and it would hardly lift up.  One of the gas struts had given up.

First time in my life I have had a strut go on me.

Off up to Toowoomba to the gas strut place to get it regassed.  Sorry mate cannot regass that one, need a new one.

Was asked what it was off and how old so told him.  Then told, well if this one is gone expect the other to not be far behind it, would suggest two new ones.

Bugger!!!!

So two new struts and $120 less in the bank I can now lift the bed up again.   Smiley

Replaced my main hatch struts and will be stripping the top of the bed for some work and replacing the struts.

What Newtons did you use, cheers Robert
