Hi from Rockliegh, new to camp ovens and looking to find some old treasures to use on our little get away block in the scrub! I have enjoyed reading through the forum and seeing the photos. Have always had a 12 inch Furphy, got a bit of a shock when I saw how much it was to buy a second one for cooking. I have found what I think is an older one which I will post photos of to see if it can be identified. Looking forward to trying the recipes on the forum. Regards, Klemm.

Hi all, this is the oven we drove 4 hours to collect. It was found at Wirrabarra, SA, where I grew up so I had to have it. Had a friend show me a pork belly done in his oven, I'll make that my first cook! I hope I have uploaded the images ok, my daughter wasn't available to help! If you can tell me anything about the oven I would very much appreciate it. Klemm

The forum is a bit quiet at present and we are not seeing a lot of the collectors online. You could make a new post down in the History Section. It may be seen by more people there.
