At Charlottes Pass in the Snowy Mountains not far from the carpark but on the walk to Mount Kosciusko is this amazing snow gum.

I have taken photos of it a number of times.

These were in 2006, 2009 and 2024.

Hopefully will get to see it again.

Hey Kev, it is a 9 kilometre walk from that tree to the top of Mount Kosciusko so 18 kilometres round trip.  I did it in 2006 when the first photo was taken and always said I would like to do it again.

Now the thought of an 18 kilometre walk brings me out in a sweat.  Grin

There is a shorter walk from Thredbo but that means a ride on one of the snow lifts and I can’t handle heights these days.

The photo is of me standing on the top of Mount Kosciusko in 2006 on the day I took the first photo.

Hi Derek
I agree with you. With my back, knee and feet problems
I am flat out with a once a week walk around the supermarket
regards Kev.
Maggie good luck for tomorrow.
