Just saw a Chinese made 14” Furphy Camp Oven listed for sale on Marketplace listed for $900.

Not saying they will get that for it but some sure are trying to sell at high prices

I think it is a trap for the novices, even so $900 for a genuine made in Oz Furphy is steep.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

My 14" Kangaroo Stove Company  Furphy is going on marketplace soon.
Got to scale back what I have in the shed.
Sticking with the six COs I use most.

First photo is of a Chinese made one.  Overall they are a much smoother cast than Australian however the big giveaway is the lid.  The lid handle is pointed one end and with a big blob the other as you can see here.

Second photo is an Australian one and as you see the lid handle is even size right across.

A couple have sold. Some general cast iron as well.
Downsizing a lot of stuff.
If I don't use it, it's gone.
Cutting back to just 6 or 7 COs.
