I was shocked out of my usual complacency today.

Grabbing some bits and pieces at our local Woolies.  Where possible I usually grab the large free range organic eggs.

Reached up to pick a dozen up and froze as I saw the price.

$12.45 a dozen.  😲😲😲😲

Yep, that’s about normal.  I think the 800grm eggs used to cost me $7.40 or maybe $8.40

Was at IGA this morning and seems like Woolies there are many shelves empty of eggs.  IGA were cheaper and nothing up around the $12 mark.
