Some pics from Karumba.

Karumba is a very old place and it looks like everything ever taken up there is still there. Every second back yard is a junk yard. Old cars, old boats, old trucks, old machinery you name it.

A lot of shops and business no longer operating but the buildings still there.

In saying that can see the council is putting a lot of effort into it.

Checked the stats on the truck.

So far since leaving home we have travelled 3660 kilometres and it has been averaging 13.1 litres to the 100 kilometres.

The old town wharf in Normanton has quite a bit of history although it is a bit wonky these days.

We are camped on the other side of the river from it and last photo shows our motorhome.

Our neighbors found this in front of their camp.

It says: “CROC sighted here 28/7/25 about 6 metres off the bank in the river.”

Looks like we are a week too late again.
