Have arrived at Echuca and set up at the Rotary RV Park.  Dump Point, water and rubbish bins all for a $10 donation.

Been some rain but all cleared now.

Off to Bendigo in the morning.

Pulled into one of our favourite stopovers in Victoria.  The carpark at Brown Brothers Winery at Milawa

Have stayed here half a dozen or more times over the years.  It was here that we nearly lost our puppy, Daisy to a snake bite a few years back during Covid times.

Going to be here a few days this time.

There is water and rubbish bins here and a dump point about 5 minutes drive away.  You need to be self contained as no grey water allowed on the ground.

Along the way we called into the Bendigo Woollen Mill Shop.

It is quite an impressive place and Maggie made a few purchases

As seen in red we reached the southern most leg of this trip and have started north again.

After this stop for a few days we start on our run for home.

Still all going well

We are in the heart of the Milawa Gourmet Region so . . . . . . . . . . . . . it is lunch in the style of a gourmet Malawian.   Tongue

We have been coming to this place for ever and stopped many times.  Yesterday when we pulled in there was a sticker on the water pipe at the tap saying “BORE WATER”.

Never been there before and the place is advertised across camping apps as having potable water.

Flipped a message to Brown Brothers and got this reply:

Hi Derek,

Thanks for your message. Our RV park is a free, self-contained camping area, so guests do need to be fully self-sufficient. There is no drinking water access at the site, and the tap marked “Bore Water” is non-potable and not suitable for drinking.

Kind regards,
Molly

Seems we have been drinking bad water here for years.   Grin Grin Grin Grin

More of a legal notice I think, evenin Qld we were suppose to put a sign on our front fence/gate saying bore water in use.

Hello Derek
I hope you have a great time with your friends.
I saw  photos the other day on Face Book of a free camping area at Old Junee looked very good.
Anyway you and Maggie continue to enjoy your trip and thanks for the updates.
