Hi Derek
At least it is still there and it can be used to encourage people to stay a while longer.
Regards Kev

On the move again today and tonight we are staying at the Terramungamine Reserve just outside Dubbo.  Nice free camp.  The area down along the river was a bit crowded and very cut up so we are up near the road

Interesting aboriginal heritage site where they have preserved the grinding grooves from days gone by.

Tomorrow we will be cutting across to the New England Highway at Muswellbrooke.

Tonights stopover is at Walabadah on the New England Highway south of Tamworth.

This was a caravan park many years ago and was abandoned however the local council took it over as a rest area/overnight stop.  They do ask for a donation to stay.

The old caravan amenities block is still here with cold showers and toilets.  There are water taps scattered around however for filling and not connecting up to.

I remember scraping ice off the windscreen here a few years ago in winter.  Shouldn’t be that cold tonight.

About 570 kilometres from home now Kev.  I think two more nights and we will be there.

Off to the Nundle Woollen Mill tomorrow and that will basically be the last place we are planning to see.

I bet the Nundle wool shop will be full of all colours of wool
just like Maggie had at Bendigo
Will you camp there at Nundle
Yes not so far to home I can hear your little dog starting to get excited to see you both now. Grin Grin
