Woke this morning to an awful screeching. At first thought it was corellas however a mob of flying foxes had moved into the trees beside the park.

They are the black flying foxes unlike the red ones around home.

The singing ship here at Emu Park in all its glory.  No wind today so she wasn’t singing.

Also went for a look around the little sleepy village of Kepple Sands.  This far north we are in crocodile country now.

Have moved a bit further up the coast to the BarraCrab Caravan Park at Clairview.

Have heard quite a bit about it over the years and always thought it would be worth a look.

Quite an old park here with bore water only.  Lucky I filled our tanks up at Emu Park this morning. Amenities look clean. Big laundry available.  Unfortunately no dump point.  Have to drive half an hour to find one.

I have the trailer chained and padlocked to the bullbar as it is all open to the road.  Smiley

The waterfront is quite inviting and the photos do not really do justice to the water colours.

Staying here three nights.

Seems to be more motorhomes in the whole park than caravans today.

Stopped there on our way to the Cape.
Top spot with lovely sunrises.

Have you ever stopped at Cape Palmerston?
On the coast just south of Sarina.
