Pouring rain here at MacLeean right now and I had a look at the rain radar for Glenreagh and a storm going through there as well.

Knowing that there was going to be a gathering of cast iron at Glenreagh the weather gods got in early and opened up the heavens. I don't think I've ever been to a COG where it didn't rain and hail, Broke, Thora the list goes on......

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Maggie and I didn’t want to go home after getting to Glenreagh and have been floating around the northern NSW Coast.

I think it has been one of the wettest weeks we have ever spent in the motorhome.  Still cosy and enjoyable though.

You sure are right Rob.  The weather gods have been against us this trip.

I had good intentions to get a camp oven out, but the rain hasn't stopped here.
100mm overnight.

Been bucketing down here this afternoon.  We have been watching movies in the motorhome.

Yep, we woke to sun streaming through the roof vents which was nice and then a drive home in the sun and no windscreen wipers clacking back and forwards.

As for the next COG, I am not sure.

We are off to Hervey Bay in a few weeks for Easter and then a few weeks after that are heading off around the country so will be away most of the year all going well.

We don’t necessarily need to be there for it so perhaps someone may organise one during winter.
