Didn’t really know what to call these.  I got the idea from an old English corned beef and potato pie recipe however the Brits use tinned corned beef.

Very basic recipe.

Cut four sheets of shortcut pastry into rounds.  Dice an onion and cook in oil until soft.  Remove from pan.  Par boil diced potato and add to pan, toss to brown,  add diced corn beef and toss, return onion to pan and toss to distribute everything evenly.  Set aside to cool.

Place filling over half of a pastry round, fold over and seal the edges.   Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180 degrees until nicely browned.  Around 45 to 50 minutes.

In the British way serve with baked beans.

Very, very tasty.  Oh yes, I still cannot get that pastry twist right.  Grin
