We copped it here in WA yesterday arvo & last night. I thought I had everything under control but it still managed to move stuff around. Power went off around 7.30pm last night & was restored about midday today. Poor power workers were tested, as power outages from north of Perth right down south. It absolutely bucketed down but I have no idea how much rain we had as I access a weather station about a kilometre away and it's offline. we have a kettle on the wood heater so my wife was happy to get coffee's.

Been watching that WA weather Gordon.  Some nasty stuff.

It got down to 5.2 degrees here around 5.00 this morning but a nice clear day coming up.

And now it is hitting us,, battery down to 5 kWH reserve in case power goes of and what is going in is what we are using 0.3kWH. Wind is yet to pick up but plenty of rain squalls crossing over.

Yes it is winter. Cheers Robert

Our lowest temp of the year this morning.  Just after 6.30 it was 4.5 degrees.  Brrrrrrrrr.

Was planning to do some gardening today.

Stuck my head out the door earlier and the wind cut right through my clothes.

We have a 35 knot westerly and the temp is a feels like 8 degrees.

I shall be staying inside as much as I can. 😊

It got right down here late yesterday so we ended up turning the central heating on.  The first time for this winter.

Nice sunny day today but those westerly winds are persisting and keeping the temp down.  Currently 13 degrees
