With all the news reports of storms, heavy rain and flash flooding, as at 11.00 am we only had 11mm of rain in the past 24 hours.

Have not had any for a couple of weeks. Every time the radar shows storms they go north of the city.
May be on the week end. Cheers

We have had 14mm of rain in the gauge overnight.  One tank is full and the other about 40cm down from the top.  More rain expected.

Yet another miserable Barossa Valley day.

More drizzle, more wind, more cold.

We've had 17mm over night and maybe another 10mm so far today.

It's currently 9°C.

I was hoping the tanks would be full but it looks like the stormwater from the sheds is blocked somewhere between the shed and the feed to the tanks.  So that water is wasted.

Why do people think that bodging up plumbing is ever a good idea?  So with all the other crap going on here, I need to somehow convince a plumber we actually need something fixed.  I suppose, as usual, I'll end up doing it myself while also drying out the water in the shed.

I am sure that people do the bare minimum.  Plumbing issues are always a pain to rectify when they go haywire.

Pouring rain here at present so water tanks will all be full.

The whole roof runs into the tank and the overflow is not coping.

At least I know the tank is full.

Bloody water everywhere now.  The joys of living at the bottom of a big hill.

We got 57mm out of that storm according to my gauge.  Sun came out for a while and now it’s coming down again.   Cool
