I was looking at the English Muffin recipe the other day.  So while shopping I grabbed some bread improver.

When I looked more closely, it was bread improver with yeast.

Why can I not read labels when in a supermarket?   Grin

Oh well, I'd probably jigger with the recipe anyway, so why not start out that way?

I admit I am an agent of Satan, however, my duties are largely ceremonial.

Lance had some of that in Cairns.  We cooked the exact same bread recipe but he used it as a replacement for my yeast and bread improver.  His rise was about a third less than mine.  I would suggest use about a half more than you would straight yeast and see how it goes.

I did like that it comes in foil sachets though.  Much easier than putting the yeast in the fridge.
